If you have a lot of content on a page, you may want to have visitors go to a specific section of the page. In this case, you can add bookmarks and link to those bookmarks for visitors to navigate within a page. You must add bookmarks before you can link to them.
1 Select an item for the bookmark (such as a text frame with a heading in it).
2 On the Home tab, click the Link button in the Page section to open the menu.
3 Choose Select.
4 In the Link dialog box, select Bookmark in the Link Type list.
5 Type an identifier in the Bookmark identifier of the selected item box (the bottom box).
6 Click OK.
7 Repeat steps 1-5 for each section on the page that requires a bookmark.
1 Select the item for linking to the bookmark.
2 On the Home tab, click the Link button in the Page section to open the menu.
3 Choose Select.
4 In the Link dialog box, select Bookmark in the Link Type list.
5 Type the identifier for the bookmark in the Scroll page to the bookmark with the identifier box (the top box).
If you don’t remember the bookmark identifier, click the Page Bookmarks button. In the Page Bookmarks List dialog box, select the bookmark and click OK.
6 Click OK.
7 Repeat steps 1-5 for each bookmark on the page.
