Digg is a social bookmarking service. Visitors can save their bookmarks online and share them with others.
If one of your website visitors has a Digg account, that visitor can click this button to automatically add a link (or bookmark) from their account to your website. Adding bookmark buttons can be an excellent way to attract more visitors to your website.
1 On the Insert and Modify tab, click Object to open the list. In the list, click Object.
2 In the Insert Object dialog box, click the WebWidgets tab.
3 Select Bookmark on Digg.
4 Click on your document to open the Object Properties dialog box.
5 Double click each field to edit the information.
Title: Enter a heading for your website or web page.
Description: In the Edit Text dialog box, type text describing your site or enter your website statement.
Source URL: In the Get Internet Address dialog box, type the URL for your website or web page.
Category: Choose a category from the list.
Topic: Choose a topic from the list.
Button Label: Type text for a ToolTip, which shows when a visitor moves the pointer over the icon.
6 Click OK and adjust the location of the button, if needed.
■ To verify the bookmark, preview your site and click the icon. (To actually create a valid bookmark to your site, you must publish the site online.)
■ To change the bookmark’s properties, double-click the object.
