You can also create an animated GIF from scratch as a WebEasy document that you build as an animated GIF file. By using this method, you have more flexibility in creating animations.
Choose New > Blank Website from the WebEasy menu.
In the New Document dialog box, select Blanks as the template and click OK.
On the Home tab in the Page section, click Modify > Page Size and specify User Defined. Set the page size so that it is small enough for the largest GIF image you have. Click OK.
In the Page section, click Insert > Blank Page as needed for the number of GIF images you have. (Each page is one ‘frame’ in the animation.)
On the Insert and Modify tab, click Image > Picture. Locate and select a GIF file and click Open.
Repeat step 4 for each GIF image for the animation.
If you wish, in the Modify section, click Effects > Page Transition. Specify a transition, transition duration, and image duration and click OK. (You can apply the same settings to all pages or just to the current page.)
Choose Save As > Document. Name the file and specify a location. Click Save.
Choose Export > Animated GIF.
In the Build Animated GIF dialog box, click Advanced.
To adjust how long each image displays, drag the Page duration slider.
To adjust how long each transition takes, drag the Page effect slider.
To adjust the color palette, select a different palette from the list, and then, if needed, adjust the color depth.
To have the GIF images interlaced, select Interlaced.
To specify a color as transparent, click the color box and select a color in the Color palette.
Click OK.
To change the size of the animation item, select Change size of the image and then specify the new size.
To create the animated GIF, click OK.
The animation shows in your default browser. You can now insert the image file into a document.
