Embedding a Facebook Video

Facebook is a popular online networking site. You can embed a video that you have on your Facebook page.

Any video from Facebook adheres to the privacy conditions that you’ve set. To have a video available for public viewing on your site, in the Share this Video dialog box on Facebook, set it to appear for Public.

1        In the list on the WebWidgets tab of the Insert Object dialog box, select Video on Facebook.

2        When open the Embedded Object Properties dialog box, adjust the values in the following parameters: Width, Height, Video ID, and Screen.

To get the Facebook video ID:

1        Sign into your Facebook account.

2        On your Home page, click Photos on the left and then click Videos after ‘See All:’.

3        Select the video to embed.

4        Select Embed this Video.

5        In the Embed your video dialog box, select and copy the embed code and click Okay.

6        Paste the code into Notepad and then select and copy the characters after "http://www.facebook.com/v/ and before the next "/. For example, copy 123456789012345 in the following:

7        In WebEasy, paste that ID to replace the Video ID value.

8        If you wish, log out of your Facebook account and exit Notepad.

9        If you want users to be able to see a full-screen view, double-click the Screen value to show a check mark.

10    Click OK.
