Embedding a Google Video

You can embed a public video that is available from Google through video.google.com.

1        In the list on the WebWidgets tab of the Insert Object dialog box, select Video on Google.

2        When you double-click the video object, in the Embedded Object Properties dialog box, adjust the values in the following parameters: Width, Height, Video ID, and Play Automatically.

To get the Google video ID:

1        Search for the video through the Google Video page.

2        Select a video that’s available on video.google.com.

Note:  Most videos found with a Google Video search are on YouTube or other sites. For these videos, use the procedure relevant to the listed site.

3        Click the Embed video link under the video.

4        When the embed code shows, double-click and copy the embed code.

5        Paste the code into Notepad and then select and copy the characters after docid= and before &hl. For example: copy 1234567890123456789 in the following:

googleplayer.swf?docid=1234567890123456789&hl

6        In WebEasy, paste that ID to replace the Video ID value.

7        If you wish, exit Notepad.

8        To have the video start when the page loads, double-click the Play Automatically value.

9        Click OK.
