Embedding a MySpace Video

MySpace is social-networking site focused on entertainment. You can embed a video that you have in your MySpace account.

1        In the list on the WebWidgets tab of the Insert Object dialog box, select Video on MySpace.

2        When you place the video object, in the Embedded Object Properties dialog box, adjust the values in the following parameters: Width, Height, and Video ID. You can also adjust the Background color and specify whether to play the video automatically or not.

To get the MySpace video ID:

1        Log into your MySpace account.

2        Click My Stuff > Upload Videos.

3        On the left, if necessary, click My Uploads.

4        On the My Videos page, locate and select the video to embed.

5        Under the video, click the </>Embed button.

6        In the Video URL box, select and copy the video ID after the last /. For example, copy 123456789 in the following:

www.myspace.com/video/111111111/me/123456789

7        In WebEasy paste that ID to replace the Video ID value.

8        To have the video start when the page loads, double-click the Play Automatically value.

9        If you wish, change the video player’s background color, by double-clicking the Background color value and selecting a color in the Color palette.

10    Click OK.
